Prevention Task Force – The Prevention Task Force provides a focus on youth violence prevention, and integrates a powerful evidence-based tool to create a climate of non-violence throughout Malden. This initiative has also provided residents with health screenings and enhanced school and community-based health education.

The Prevention Task Force has also done “Health & Beauty Day” in the city for more than 10 years, sponsored the Civil Rights Team at Malden High School, been integral to the annual Healthy Kids Day, and has presented many bullying prevention programs throughout the schools.
